His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa stressed the vital role of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) in serving the trade and industrial sectors and promote Bahrain’s economic and investment status regionally and internationally. HM the King was speaking as he received at Safriya Palace today BCCI new Board of Directors led by Chairman Samir Abdullah Nass. He congratulated them on their election, wishing them success in serving the commercial march and underlining the chamber’s active role in the development process. HM King Hamad praised the elections of BCCI new Board of Directors which reflected the great importance of the national institution and its historical role in the kingdom’s economic development. He expressed appreciation of the chamber, commending the efforts of its Board of Directors in supporting the national economic and commercial march. He took pride in the outstanding elite of Bahraini traders and businessmen who took charge of serving the sector and developing its performance. HM the King hailed the role of the private sector as a key element in economic development and in supporting Bahrain’s trends to diversify the sources of its revenues and promote investments and economic projects. He reiterated support to the trade and economic sector to continue its active contribution to bolstering the pioneering role of the kingdom’s economy. The BCCI Board Chairman expressed on behalf of all the board members thanks and respect to HM the King for the meeting and for supporting the business sector in Bahrain. He commended the wise royal approach of communicating with the business community in Bahrain, pledging to continue backing HM the King’s efforts to promote the economic and development march at the local and international levels. He affirmed allegiance and support to HM the King in all decisions taken to fast-track growth and maintain the kingdom’s security and stability. The BCCI Chairman lauded the royal directives to boost the national economy, paying tribute to HM the King for his support to the commercial, industrial and investment sectors amid the local, regional and international situation. He also praised the royal support to the private sector and its role in the development process. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to protect HM the King to continue serving Bahrain and its people.
