Bahrain and Jericho Chambers mull stepping up business

Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Mr. Khalid Al Moayed alongside first vice-chairman Mr. Khalid Al Zayani and board members Ms. Ahlam Janahi and Khulood Al Qattan received at Bait Al Tijjar yesterday a Palestinian business delegation headed by the chairman of Jericho Chamber of Commerce Mr. Tayseer Hameeda in the presence of the Palestinian ambassador to Bahrain H.E. Taha Mohammed Abdulqader. The meeting hailed the bilateral and deep-rooted relation between Bahrain and Palestine and stressed on the importance of invigorating trade and investments. Mr. Al Moayed expressed the keenness of the Bahrain Chamber on cooperating with Jericho Chamber in a bid to streamline business and encourage partnerships. Mr. Hameeda expressed similar keenness and called the Bahraini business community to visit Jericho and mull business opportunities, highlighting that the main industries in Jericho are agriculture, food processing, and tourism.
