BBBF Women in Business Celebrates Bahrain Women’s Day

On the occasion of Bahraini Woman’s Day, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has recently held a celebration marking the event and honoring its women employees.

The event was held under the patronage of the Chairman Mr. Khalid Al Moayed, who expressed pride in Bahraini women and their contributions alongside their men counterparts to the development process in Bahrain. Mr. Al Moayed recalled with pride the reforms initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which have empowered Bahraini women and augmented their role. He praised women employees of the chamber and expressed confidence in their competence, and highlighted the fact that the current board of directors includes five very effective women members. Similarly, the Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber Dr. Khalid Al Ruwaihi lauded women employees of the chamber, many of whom holding leading positions. He vowed to continue empowering women and ensuring equal opportunities.

It is worth mentioning that the event was attended by a number of BCCI women board members, and included an honoring ceremony for outstanding employees.
