Bahrain British Business Forum and Tamkeen Host Business Networking Meeting in Partnership


BBBF held its monthly business networking meeting in strategic partnership with Tamkeen at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, recently. The meeting was chaired by the BBBF Chairman Khalid Al Zayani, OBE, and attended by keynote speakers from Tamkeen.

BBBF members and their guests were given a presentation by Tamkeen about the latest developments and updates pertaining to Tamkeen and its support and incentive schemes that can be availed by the BBBF members. Such services include grants can be used across various business areas, financial solutions, Training and Wage Support, Advisory Services. At the end of the session, members were requested to provide their valuable feedback and suggestions to further improve its services.

The meeting was attended by more than 120 members of the BBBF, leading entrepreneurs, who had the opportunity to expand their knowledge and further their understanding of the upcoming schemes.

Commenting on the event, Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi, Chief Executive of Tamkeen said: “As part of our strategic outreach campaign, Tamkeen constantly seeks to raise awareness about its services among the private sector by collaborating with key stakeholders through sector-specific forums. Participating in such events, provide us with the right platform to communicate our latest programs and service offerings to the relevant audience so that they can benefit from it. This ties into Tamkeen’s objective to diversify Bahrain’s economy through a variety of initiatives and offerings.”

BBBF regularly hosts the monthly networking lunch for the benefit of its members and aims to promote trade and investment between Bahrain and Britain in a non-discriminatory, non-political and non-profit making manner. The BBBF also assists in introducing new trade and investment to both countries to benefit and enhance the common economic interests of member companies.
