HM King Hamad has prioritised human development and the Kingdom’s citizens are central to national d


His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, visited during Ramadan the Majlis of Abdulhameed Abduljabbar Al Kooheji and brothers, the Majlis of the Al Kooheji family, and the Majlis of the sons of Rashid Abdulrahman Al Zayani.

HRH the Crown Prince emphasised that the Kingdom's development efforts build on the foundations established by Bahrain's forefathers, which continue to be reinforced today through the success of Bahrain's modern and progressive economy.

HRH the Crown Prince spoke of the importance of human development to the Kingdom’s economy, highlighting the central role that Bahraini citizens continue to play in driving forward the Kingdom’s key sectors.

HRH the Crown Prince emphasised that HM King Hamad has prioritised human development, and this has enabled the Kingdom to achieve much in terms of economic development and the protection of the rights of women and children.

HRH the Crown Prince added that women’s empowerment is just one of a number of areas in which Bahrain has shown significant progress, highlighting that the Kingdom continues to support the prominent role of Bahraini women within society.

The Crown Prince went on to note the commitment of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, to ensuring women’s empowerment remains at the heart of the Kingdom’s development.

HRH the Crown Prince also noted that Bahrain’s youth represent an important pillar within the Kingdom’s development, highlighting the government’s commitment to ensuring Bahrain’s youth have the appropriate skills to contribute positively to the national economy.

HRH the Crown Prince further added that youth empowerment is a central element within Bahrain’s comprehensive development, and praised the role of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, in implementing programmes and initiatives aimed at enhancing youth capabilities.

The Majlis hosts and guests expressed their gratitude and appreciation for His Royal Highness’ visit, and praised His Royal Highness’s support for initiatives designed to empower women and youth within the Kingdom.
