The Prime Minister Prince received Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) board

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa received Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) board led by Chairman Khalid Abdulrahman Almoayyed. He urged the unity of the trade community to support the national economy, in light of regional and international security and economic challenges. He stressed the Government’s drive to adopt more initiatives towards supporting the private sector on all levels so as to bolster its crucial contribution to the national economic development. “The current world economic developments obliged the region to adopt steps to ensure sustainable growth”, he said, describing the chamber as a strategic economic partner. He reiterated the Government’s determination to continue developing investment legislations and streamline business procedures, stressing the importance for the media to promote the dedicated strides in Bahrain and abroad. . The Premier commended the efforts of the private sector to consolidate the national economic competitiveness and spur growth, underlining the Government’s keenness on engaging it in sustainable economic development plans. BCCI Chairman paid tribute to HRH the Premier for supporting the chamber as well as the industrial and trade sectors which, he said, consolidated Bahrain’s standing in the regional and international board.
