Young professionals and budding entrepreneurs have been urged to confidently grab opportunities to establish business ventures.

Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed Al Zayani urged youngsters to work hard and grow beyond the borders of Bahrain. He was addressing participants at a networking event hosted by the Bahrain British Business Forum’s (BBBF) Special Interest Group for Young Professionals.

Mr Al Zayani highlighted Bahrain’s economic circumstances and the outlook for the remainder of the year. He also outlined steps taken by the ministry to support start-ups and industries.

More than 80 young professionals and BBBF members from a variety of Bahrain’s business sectors attended the event, held at Bahrain Bourse, Bahrain Financial Harbour.

“BBBF’s Young Professionals’ networking events are designed to expand the knowledge of Bahrain’s start-up workforce while connecting them to a vast network of established executives, in order to propel their careers forward,” co-head of the Young Professionals SIG Ava Garbutt said.

“By affording them the chance to gather and network, young professionals can take the opportunity to forge lifelong business connections.”
