His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Receives Book on Bahraini-British Relations

Manama, Nov. 27 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Safriya Palace today Honorary President of Al Zayani Investments group Khalid Rashid Al Zayani who presented him with a copy of his book on the history of the Bahraini-British relations over the past 200 years. The book contains pictures and documents on some occasions and events depicting two-century solid and deep-rooted historic relations between the two royal families and peoples. HM the King thanked him, praising the efforts made in compiling the valuable book which is considered as a reference for researchers and historians who are interested in the history of the Bahraini-British relations. He also lauded contributions of Khalid Rashid Al Zayani in boosting the trade, economic and investment momentum in Bahrain, wishing him every success. Al Zayani extended thanks and respect to HM the King for his efforts in spearheading Bahrain's growth, hailing the kingdom's development in the commercial, economic, industrial and investment field.
