Al-Zayani majlis hosts mass wedding

Manama, Jan15(BNA) Al-Zayani Mabarrah Charity Foundation held this evening the first mass wedding in Muharraq. The ceremony was held at Rashid Al-Zayani Majlis under the patronage of the Supreme Islamic Affairs Council President Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al-Khalifa. His Majesty’s Advisor for Information Affairs Nabeel bin Yacoub Al-Hamer attended the event, along with governors, officials, MPs, municipal councilors, Muharraq dignitaries, leading community figures, citizens and journalists. Al-Zayani Mabarrah Charity Foundation Chairman Khalid bin Rashid Al-Zayani addressed the event, on behalf of his brothers, sons and members of Al-Zayani family. He expressed his delight at holding the mass wedding, which inaugurates the majlis of the late Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al-Zayani, extending thanks to Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al-Khalifa for patronizing the ceremony. He announced that Al-Zayani Investments would hold an annual mass wedding as part of efforts to help young people start a happy family and live a blissful married life. He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, wishing Bahrain and its people every success under their leadership. Sixty brides and grooms from the two sects, who tied the knot, were congratulated on their wedding. The newly-married couples thanked Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al-Khalifa for patronizing the ceremony. They also paid tribute to the sons and grandsons of late Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al-Zayani, hailing all benevolent efforts to help them marry with the support of Al-Zayani Mabarrah Charity Foundation.
